The Power of Perception

If I’m wearing a red shirt and I call it blue, when someone offers me a blue shirt, I may very well say no thanx, I already have a blue shirt. I would be unable to receive the blue shirt because I already believe I have it.

Salvation of God and the receiving of the Holy Spirit is similar in nature to believing you already have the blue shirt.

The Bible says in Acts 1:8, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Power comes with the Holy Spirit! If you have received the Holy Spirit, you would have power! If you have no power, you do not have the Holy Spirit!

This power is your dominion in all the Earth. You will excel in all you do. Demons and demonic forces bow and obey you! You see a need and call for it! You are not defeated but rather you are victorious!

If you believe things just happen in the world that are out of your control, you do not have this power operating in you. It’s in you, but it needs to be activated by the renewing of your mind according to the Word of God. We first get it through the written word and then once it’s meditated, it’s deposited or sown into your heart. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10).

Believing in the heart produces words. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (Matthew 12:34).

If you are operating like a normal human being, you’re not operating in the power of the Holy Spirit! Get filled with the Holy Spirit! Ask The Lord God Almighty to fill you with His Holy Spirit and Power! Then thank Him and praise Him for what He’s done for you!
